Our client in the transportation industry is looking for a Diesel mechanic to joint their Lusaka team.DESCRIPTION: Run diagnostic tests, interpret resultsFault findingCarry out the servicing and mechanical/ technical repairs on trucksIdentify spares requirementsAttending to Breakdowns  KEY SKILLS: Be physically fit for heavy workOutstanding knowledge of auto components and machineryPossess great mechanical aptitudeBe meticulous and accurateAble to work in noisy environmentsHave great hand-eye coordinationBasic welding skillsTroubleshooting skillsBasic knowledge of hand and power toolsUnderstanding of electrical equipment and installationsMust be willing to work shifts, overtime, standby and be available for calloutsMust be able to travel substantially for roadside breakdowns QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12Trade CertificateDriving LicenseMust have at least 5 years’ experience in the transport workshop environment
