Our client, based in Livingstone, is looking for a Processing Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities :

• Must have Product knowledge of frozen chickens.
• Must be able to utilize plant capacity optimally.
• Ensure the quality of the end product.
• Production planning
• Coordinating Production Targets
• Able to manage process flow within abattoir (slaughtered chickens)
• Ensure of continuous flow of production
• Co-ordinate the maintenance of machinery in accordance with maintenance manager
• Co-ordinate timely deliveries
• Effective managing of clean hygienic Factory at all times.
• Performance management according to Company procedures
• Proper planning of production flow from stunning to holding room
• Daily checkup of equipment and machines before and after production
• Able to carry out measurement of none-conformance products.
• Proper co-ordination of an even production flow.
• Pack out Blast Freezer of all product ranges.
• Reconciliation of pre-blast versus post blast, report on variation
• Meet yield targets both fresh and frozen.
• Stock control and management
• FIFO, FEFO pattern adherence
