POSITION INFO : About the Role :
We are seeking a Business Development Agronomist to lead and grow our client base, build lasting partnerships, and promote sustainable agricultural solutions. This role blends agronomic knowledge with commercial insight to deliver high-value services to farmers, distributors, and agribusinesses.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the agriculture sector.
- Provide technical support and agronomic advice to customers, helping them improve yields and adopt best practices.
- Conduct product trials and demonstrate results to support sales strategies.
- Build relationships with farmers, cooperatives, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align agronomy with product development and marketing strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
- Deliver training sessions and presentations to clients and partners.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or a related field.3+ years' experience in a similar role combining agronomy and sales / business development.Strong understanding of soil, crop, and plant health management.Proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Willingness to travel extensively within the region.APPLY NOW!
