Position Overview
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at Ciela Resort & Spa. This role requires a warm, professional, and highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding customer service and ensure every guest receives a seamless and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Handle reservations, room allocations, and guest requests
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest information
- Handle guest feedback or complaints with care and professionalism
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy, welcoming, and stocked with materials.
Qualifications :
Minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate; Diploma in Hospitality or related field is an added advantageAt least 2 years of experience in hotel front desk or customer service role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProfessional appearance and demeanourProficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of hotel management software ( Opera)Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
