ARABLE MANAGER – MPONGWE FARMS (X1)

The Required Skills for this Role Include :

• Designing, implementing and monitoring agronomic practices on the farms to sustain and improve crop yields.
• Coordinating cropping activities between farm sites to ensure the most efficient management of the resources is available.
• Ensuring that Company Health & Safety guidelines are complied with on all sites to result in a safe working environment for all staff.
• Monitoring the performance of the farm in achieving their financial and physical budget and take corrective action in situations where there are deviations.
• Preparing, submitting for approval and implementing cropping plans for the farm
• Inspecting crops across farm and interpreting trends in order to correct short comings
• Ensuring that farm activities comply with government regulations
• Ensuring farms operates within budgeted parameters
• Maintaining and monitoring the quality of crops and crop yields
• Compiling and submitting budget proposal for farm.
• Monitoring performance of crops and correct deviations
