Job description

Our client, an innovative brand offering fashionable beauty products, stylish accessories, quality lifestyle items and fun stationery and toys, is currently looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Supervisor to join their team. In this role, the job holder will assist with stock management, ensuring promotional displays are correct and supporting the sales pitch.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and lead the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Train and mentor sales staff on product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance productivity.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to upper management.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to sales transactions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote sales initiatives and campaigns.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to keep the team informed and motivated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing or advertising.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events calendar.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and proven experience running campaigns on social media.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be a valid member of Zambia Institute of Marketing.
