Our client in Zambia, is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor – HVAC-R to join their team for a job vacancy within the construction industry.

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

The suitable candidate must possess :

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in the field of HVAC-R is a must
• Computer literate and fully conversant with standard packages such as MS-Office, AutoCAD and other construction design programs
• Must be able to read, interpret and work with construction project designs and drawings
• Solid Experience with working with HVAC-R designs is a must
• At least 5 years working experience in the construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor
• Construction project site management experience is of an advantage
• Will be required to measure work progressed works and submit claims for payment processing
• Should have a creative and innovative approach to problem solving
• Strong numeracy and financial management skills
• Should have more than 5 years previous experience in the same role
• Member of the EIZ.
• Holder of a clean valid drivers’ licence.
• Must be able to lead, teach and train juniors. A multitasker.

All candidates are required to obtain their ZAQA certification from the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA)
