JOB PURPOSE
To build and execute the Small to Medium Enterprises (SME) as well as Channel Partner model in collaboration with other business units within Airtel Zambia.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE :
- Recruiting and managing mobile, Fibre To The X (FTTX) and data sales team (Channel and Freelancers) in the SME and (Small Office Home Office) SOHO environment.
- Planning and executing sales activities for SOHO, SME, Gated communities, Commercial Buildings and establishments across the country
- Coordinating all sales operations and related activities in assigned regions and guide sales teams with on the ground game
- Acquiring SME profile clients. Originate NTB through direct sourcing
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Input into product development and Go to Market Deployment
- Share market and trade insights with management team to aide decision making
- Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
- Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills :
Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Economics or Information and Communication TechnologyExtensive knowledge of telecom enterprise business products and applicable marketsRelevant Experience :
6-10 years of work experience, of these, 5 years and above should be in telecom / FMCG / sales / marketing.A minimum of 5 years in Managerial roleEntrepreneurial & Business acumenStrong technical aptitude & IT savvyStrong communication skillsHighly Result Oriented believes in teamworkStrong analytical skills able to draw conclusions from data, management information and trendsCOMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE POST
