Lead Governance & Compliance

OVERALL PURPOSE

The role is responsible for and analysing, optimizing and technically translating ICT Laws, Regulations, IT policies, procedures into controls. The role included being a data protection officer for Zamtel and maintains compliance against Information Security Management System. The Lead Governance & Compliance ensures that all projects and product developments comply with baseline security configuration standards. The role is responsible for IT Disaster Recovery process and maintain records required to mature and monitor IT Disaster recovery operating effectiveness. The role focuses ensuring that adequate Governance, Risk Management and Compliance is applied across the enterprise in all IT related projects, automated processes and people involved in running automated process. Reporting to the IT Governance & security manager the roles and responsibilities are executed in collaboration with the core network administrators, database administers, systems administrators and application administrators

JOB SPECIFICATION

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree with a technical major such as Engineering or Computer Science

Professional Registration :

ICT Association of Zambia

Minimum Experience :

5 years working experience in Security, IT Governance and Compliance

Key Skills :

• Strong knowledge of IT Systems and Network Operations
• Familiar with Zambian Laws on Cyber Security, ISO 270001 / 2, Cobit, ITIL, PCI DSS, EMV Card Security, Solaris, Windows and Linux Operating Systems, Network and Applications security
• Should possess good skills in Widows OS and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge in I.T Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Knowledge in I.T Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
• Knowledge in I.T Security
• COBIT 5 Certification
• Business continuity Certification – ISO 22301Risk Control / Management
