Job description : Overall Job Purpose
- To accurately identify and allocate transport, clearing and other transit costs additional to supplier ExWorks price, for items ordered in Pronto and grouped in individual shipments, in order to better indicate true warehouse cost of goods
- To liaise with Procurement and Receiving personnel to ensure that anomalies and variances in invoicing and quantities versus KML Purchase Orders are resolved where possible before goods are received into Stores
Specific Job Responsibility
Based on pre-alert documentation, ensure that purchase order line items from one or more suppliers are correctly identified as a single shipmentVerify that our clearing agents are in possession of all pre-alert informationEnsure accurate capture of estimated duties, agent service charges, and other non-recoverable shipping costsActively pursue identification of actual costs to replace estimates where estimates could not be avoidedTake all other possible steps to ensure that full and final additional costs are recorded against stock items before final costing is triggered by receiving of goodsJob Specific Competencies
