Job descriptionMust possess a Grade 12 Certificate. Completion of a certificate in Agriculture, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Good numerical and analytical skills. Dependable, disciplined, and able to work well under pressure. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
Our client, a Global Healthcare and Crop Science Innovation company, is seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse and Logistics Interns to provide essential support to their team. The Warehouse and Logistics Interns will be actively involved in various warehousing and logistics operations, gaining practical experience while supporting the team in efficient supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Participate in weekly and monthly stock counts and audits.
- Support with the handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with logistics regulations.
- Help identify and mark non-conforming products for review and appropriate action.
- Contribute to the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
- Assist in implementing safety and operational standards in the warehouse.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying potential process gaps.
- Collaborate with other team members on various projects and tasks as required.
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety training activities.
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
