Job descriptionOversee Field works of unloading, receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations at warehouses and laydown. Responsible for the supervision, development and performance of the warehouse staffs (Material Controller, Store Keeper. Workers and equipment operator). Resolve performance issues among warehouse staff, maintain a safe work environment and ensure that employees are following all rules and regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of warehouse operations to include inbound and outbound activities, inventory, data, issuing materials to subcontractors. To Manage consignment checks for external visible or suspected damages. To Manage quantity, check and conformity with packaging list / purchase order and material requisition. To Manage Laydown and Warehouse area an efficient storage to new items received from suppliers in making a rational use of the available space. To maintain proper records and documentation in place for overall warehouse and laydown activities. To Manage resolution of unidentified / over / short and damage reports. To ensure all warehouse transactions are properly recorded and updated accurately.

Requirements
- Full Grade 12 certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing and Supply or relevant Business Management related field
- Should have in depth understanding of warehousing and dispatching of manufactured products operations and with at least five years’ work experience in such a similar role.
- Knowledge of relevant warehousing software will be an added advantage.
