Purpose of the role :
The Bond Store Administrator plays a crucial role in controlling and managing the movement of goods or services from the bonded warehouse to other parties. Overall, Bond Store Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the bonded warehouse.
Reports to : Parts / Warehouse Supervisor.
Branch : Lusaka x1.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
The Bond Store Administrator will be required to perform the following tasks :
Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) record keeping for bonded store.
Bonding and ex-bonding of all spare parts.
General Bonded warehouse management and liaison with ZRA
Assist warehouse supervisor in report preparation for bonded warehouse parts / items
Processing of Picking slips and picking of Parts.
Receiving and binning of Parts
Preparing parts for exports
Liaising with clearing agents and collection shipment from the airport
Promptly Attend to request from ZRA and Finance as required.
Keep and maintain accurate documents in accordance with Legal requirements.
Establish and Maintain Bonded warehouse processes and Procedures.
Keep updates and make sure all legal requirement of Bonded warehouse is updated timeously and according to required standard.
Prepare Monthly reports for bonded Facility.
Assist in the warehouse-on-warehouse related duties
Other responsibilities as Management may delegate from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
Must have a full Grade 12 certificate.
Minimum of a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Warehousing in a related industry
Job Specific Competencies
Good communication skills
Proficient in computer skills (MS Excel and MS Word) and able to use MS Dynamics AX
